Class to Class GNL

MAIN COMPONENTS OF CLASS TO CLASS

  1. Icebreakers/introductions: Student interaction is one of the most important aspects of a GNL course/program. Thus, having students learn about each other and successfully interact with each other is extremely important. Icebreakers are enjoyable ways to get to know each other by doing an activity. You may also wish to consider simple video introductions by having a group introduce each other via video or a software program such as “Padlet.”
  2. Collaboration activities: To obtain the most interaction between students, it is best to have a mixture of students from different countries working on a collaborative project together. Collaborative projects are similar to projects in a regular class and may be anything from a research project to a design project.
  3. Reflection exercises on the learning: In order to assist students with the learning they are undertaking in a GNL course, it is important to guide them with reflection exercises. This can be done solely on one side of the partnership or involving students in the different groups.
