We are thrilled you’re interested in the Global Gateways Program! To apply, please complete both the Global Gateways and the Housing and Residence Life online applications.

Applications for the fall semester/ academic year are open mid-February to April.

Applications for the spring semester open October to mid-November

Fall 2026 application is now open ! If you have any questions please contact globalgateways@charlotte.edu.

Deadline to apply : April 10, 2026

What happens next? After the deadline, our team will reach out to selected applicants for an interview. We typically welcome 16 new students each Fall. In the Spring, we look to fill any spots opened up by students who are heading abroad or finishing their exchange program.
