The Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars has as its main purpose the recognition of the international education experience, related academic scholarship and achievement. It also serves as a means for encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and networking among faculty and students involved in international endeavors. UNC Charlotte’s Mu Chapter inducts qualified students, faculty and staff at its annual member meeting in November and recognizes with honorary membership an individual or organization who has contributed to the internationalization of the Charlotte community.
