Join Erik Byker, Ph.D., Associate Professor in the Reading and Elementary Education Department at UNC Charlotte, a panel of UNC Charlotte students, faculty and staff, and international experts to discuss ways to connect Sustainable Development Goals in taking action on the fight for global climate change.

The panel will examine the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and discuss presentations from all disciplines via the TedxCraverRoad Countdown program. Presenters will highlight local and global efforts on how to address and take action on climate change as well as educate and connect our UNC Charlotte campus to issues in our global community. This year, the TedX Countdown includes a special focus on local solutions, methane, and oceans.
