All About Tea: Cultural Appreciation and Economic Significance

Join the UNC Charlotte Confucius Institute for an exploration of tea. Develop an understanding and appreciation of tea culture. Tea is one of the most consumed beverages in the world, and is integral to Chinese culture, poetry, and daily life experience. Participants will learn different types of tea, their respective brewing methods, and discover how tea culture and trade plays a historical, economic and cultural role in China.

Take a virtual walk through the ancient tea and horse trail that transported tea from China and neighboring Asian countries.
