International Career Panel

Join the Office of International Programs and The Magellan Society, the young professional branch of the World Affairs Council of Charlotte, for the opportunity to network and hear several early-career professionals discuss the international elements of their careers in law, business, government, not-for-profit and education. The panelists will speak about their experiences and offer valuable advice to those about to enter the job market and pursue work in international fields. Advisors from UNC Charlotte’s Career Center will be on-sight to provide brief resume reviews.

Light refreshments will be served.

This year’s panelists will include:

  • Dionna Wright, International Student and Scholar Advisor, UNC Charlotte
  • Troy Pelshak, President and Global Project Manager, Atlas Zen, LLC
  • Marie-Luce Jordan, Manager, Sales, Chassis Systems at Schaeffler Group USA

Blue Light Line Extension to UNC Charlotte City Center Building

The new Blue Line extension will be open for this event and stops at 9th street near the UNC Charlotte Center City Building. This will be a great way to arrive at the International Career Panel event from the university or other directions! Please vist the UNC Charlotte Light Rail webpage for more information.

Parking

UNC Charlotte Center City Building

Due to parking changes that are occurring around the UNC Charlotte Center City Building, the future opening of the Blue line light rail, and the construction of a new parking deck, if desired, free parking will be available in the lot located at 422 E. 9th street. This is a one-time only occurrence as next year the new public parking deck will be open. Please fill out the event registration form below and we will send you additional information on how to obtain a parking permit.
