Former CIA Director John O. Brennan is currently a Distinguished Fellow for Global Security at the Center on National Security at Fordham Law School, a Distinguished Non-Resident Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin, and a senior Advisor at Kissinger Associates Incorporated. Mr. Brennan served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 2013-2017, advising President Obama on counterterrorism strategies, helped coordinate the U.S. Government’s approach to homeland security, including its policies for responding to terrorism, cyber-attacks, natural disasters, and pandemics. At the CIA, Mr. Brennan specialized in Middle Eastern affairs and counterterrorism, leading a multi-agency effort to establish what would later become the National Counterterrorism Center. Mr. Brennan will discuss and present U.S. National Security challenges and opportunities based on his previous knowledge and experience.
