International Speaker Series: Political Challenges and Opportunities in the Middle East

Join us in welcoming Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering and Dr. Jim Walsh for the first panel-style installment of the International Speaker Series. Ambassador Pickering holds the rank of Career Ambassador, the highest in the U.S. Foreign Service and has had an impressive diplomatic career spanning five decades. Dr. Walsh is an expert in international security and a Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Security Studies Program. The two will join us for a moderated discussion around potential challenges and opportunities in the Middle East in the coming years.
