Other GNL Possibilities

The Klein College of Science offers the GNL course collaborates with the University of Lagos in Lagos, Nigeria (UNILAG) and the University of Johannesburg in Johannesburg (UJ), South Africa. The collaborative program with UNILAG is called the EDUCHALA (Education in Charlotte and Lagos)  Program and the collaborative program with UJ is called the EDUCHAJO (Education in Charlotte and Johannesburg) Program. Virtual international internships offer students the opportunity to engage with one or more host cultures, learn from international experts in their major field(s) of study, and develop a set of intercultural skills that employers desire and that can open doors to physical international experiences later in a student’s academic or professional career.

Virtual International Student Conference is a type of Globally Networked Learning and includes:

  • Collaborative online student conferences where students demonstrate their interest/learning through interactive sessions.
  • Collaborative online workshops conducted by or attended by focusing on a particular topic/theme.
