Handprints for Peace

The War and Genocide in Children’s Literature course will host their annual Promoting Peace Project, which this year is called Handprints for Peace. We will have a mural where people in the campus community may make a small donation and then add their hand print to the mural as a sign of their commitment to helping create a more peaceful world. We will have educational materials available about ongoing conflict around the world, and the donations will go to a non-profit organization that helps children affected by conflict.
