Please join the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) for the American Democracy Project’s (ADP) Global Literacy Talks: Championing the Global Agenda: American Higher Ed’s Role in Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) discussion.
The American Democracy Project (ADP) is a network of 296 state colleges and universities focused on public higher education’s role in preparing the next generation of informed, engaged citizens for our democracy. ADP’s goal is to produce college and university graduates who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and experiences they need to be informed, engaged members of their communities.
This session features Ramu Damodaran, First Chief, United Nations Academic Impact. It focuses on the role of American Higher Education institutions in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to champion the global agenda. SDGs are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership to end poverty, improve health and education, reduce inequality, spur economic growth, tackle climate change and more.
