Daniel F. Runde is Senior Vice President at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a global think tank. Additionally, he is the director of the Project on Prosperity and Development and holds the William A. Schreyer Chair in Global Analysis at CSIS. Spending the last 20 years working on global development and American soft power, prior to CSIS, Runde held leadership positions at USAID and the World Bank Group and worked with both commercial and investment banking.
